Michael Sudheer was born in Baltimore,MD. After earning a BFA at the University of Michigan, he went to New York to pursue acting, but began an award-winning 15-year career producing and directing TV commercials. He then turned his attention to photography, at which he was remarkably successful: he was given a one-man show at the Light Gallery, New York's top photo gallery, and was the first photographer to be exhibited in the windows of Tiffany's. Sudheer's photographs are in the corporate collections of Hallmark, Exxon, Kaiser Permanente, and Chevron.
A follower of the enlightened master, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (who later became known as OSHO), Sudheer brings a deep spiritual dimension to his photography, the process of which he often describes as a meditation on the colors and shapes he frames in his camera.
